Cacomantis flabelliformis
Slurred disyllabic note, starting on 3kHz, dropping to about 2kHz and then rising again. Opening note clear, but tremulous on the way back up in the second part of the call. This is the CHIREEE call of HANZAB.
Good match with sonogram and call description in HANZAB. Need to research recordings and find a good reference comparison.
High confidence, reasonably well-known call that is also given in the daytime in some social contexts.
Other cuckoos.
