Lewinia pectoralis
The standard kek-kek-kek call of this species, the spectrogram showing two parallel vertical lines, with most energy centred around 4kHz. Call repeated 4-5 times per second. Unclear whether this call is formally named in HANZAB.
Sounds like the typical daytime call, and roughly matches spectgrams, but still awaiting formal comparison and the production of a comparison image.
High confidence, although careful checking needed.
Possible some other night-moving species might make similar noises.
Project detections: 8 annotations; 1 night; recorded in October; most recent detection 02 Oct 2021.
